IV Therapy

Hydration and nutrient support, decided clinically.

Intravenous therapy delivers fluids and nutrients directly into the bloodstream, bypassing digestion. Patients most often ask about it for hydration, for support around fatigue, and alongside a wellness or weight management plan.

Because this is a physician-led practice, what goes into an infusion and whether you should have one is a clinical decision. Your history and current medications are reviewed first — some ingredients interact, and some patients should not receive certain formulations at all.

The drips we offer

Three formulations are offered — B-Lean, Quench and Recovery. Which one, if any, suits you is decided against your history at consultation rather than picked from a menu on the day.

What to expect

You are seated comfortably while the infusion runs. A session generally takes somewhere between half an hour and an hour depending on the formulation, and you can read or work through it.

IV therapy is offered as support alongside the rest of your care. It is not a treatment for a medical condition, and it is not offered as one.

Questions about IV Therapy

How do I know which infusion is right for me?

It is discussed at consultation, where your history and current medications are reviewed. This is a clinical decision rather than a selection from a menu.

How long does a session take?

Generally between half an hour and an hour, depending on the formulation. You are seated comfortably throughout.

Can IV therapy replace treatment for a medical condition?

No. It is supportive care offered alongside the rest of your plan, and it is not offered as a treatment for any condition. If something needs medical attention, that is a separate conversation and we will have it.
